This event, expertly organized by second-year fashion marketing students, brought together the elegance of a wine tasting experience in collaboration with Chef’s Table, while offering a unique opportunity to explore the artistry behind the fashion label. Guests were treated to an unforgettable night of refined taste, engaging knowledge, and a warm, celebratory atmosphere.

The event seamlessly combined the worlds of wine and fashion, offering guests a unique and enriching experience. A knowledgeable speaker presented the wine, guiding attendees through its origins, flavor profile, and the art of food pairings that enhanced the overall tasting experience. In addition to this sensory exploration, the event also provided insight into the latest fashion trends, highlighting the intersection of style and sophistication. Guests were immersed in both the craftsmanship of fine wine and the artistry of fashion, making for an unforgettable evening of indulgence and education.

Responsibilities
As a key member of the event planning team, I initially led the Venue Committee, where I was responsible for developing the event theme, sourcing supplies, calculating costs and requirements, and creating the floor plan and guest seating layout.
Over time, I took on a leadership role, coordinating multiple aspects of the event to ensure its overall success. My responsibilities included:

Liaising with the restaurant manager through in-person meetings and email communication

Designing the event floor plan and detailed seating charts for both guests and staff

Providing weekly progress updates to the planning team

Staying after hours to organize table displays and install decorations

Coordinating with faculty and peers to ensure alignment on planning and execution

Procuring products and supplies in line with budget and event needs

Delegating responsibilities efficiently across the team based on strengths

Promoting the event through targeted social media campaigns

Organizing and overseeing a professional photoshoot during the event
These responsibilities allowed me to develop strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills—resulting in a seamless, well-executed event that left a lasting impression.
